Moore Mountain Run

Fellow runners and walkers,

Gary Smeltzer, our Vice President, and Moore Mountain race director has relocated to Napa California and is in the process of purchasing the local running shoe store. He was also the Race Director of the Moore Mountain Run and is unable to continue that venture. The Lopers Board has decided to cancel the run as we aren't prepared to take over for him at this late date. I hope this isn't a problem for anyone. If you sent in an entry form, it will be returned.
Sorry and thank you for your support.

Homer

  1. Homer, that's too bad that you had to cancel. Can you please add the Running Y 5K Fun Run/Walk to your schedule? (Oct. 3rd.) We should connect soon about the details.

Good luck Gary on your new venture!

  2. Homer, sorry your race was postponed, I bet it was a good one. Can you tell me what the date will be for the 2010 Crater Lake marathon? I want to make hotel reservations. Thanks and best of luck.

  3. Hello bspecht,

Usually the CL Rim Runs are on the second Saturday of August. They have a website:

    http://www.craterlakerimruns.com/

but have not posted the race date. March 1st is the opening day for signing up.

    Hope this helps.

  5. I'd be interested in knowing what the course was going to be for the 1/2 marathon at Moore Park. I run there often. Was there ever a course map available?

  6. Hi Homer, I had a friend ask if there is a Thanksgiving Turkey Trot this year, is there one? Also, the Run for the Music will be March 13th, Saturday, 2010, same place, same times. Hoping to get a registration form out by Christmas. Thanks, Jeanne Landrum
